Your ideas deserve
to be made

For creatives who need more hours in the day.

You have the passion and the vision. You're just short on time and looking for someone who genuinely cares about the details. That is where I come in. I handle the background work so your projects can start living in the world while you have more time for doing the parts you enjoy.

What I do

Researching Planning Designing Editing Curating Writing Organizing Proofing
Is this familiar?

Too many ideas. Too little time.

An idea pops into your head, so you start working on it. Before you can finish, there's another, and another, until the list is so long you don't know how you'll ever finish it. You're not alone. There's only so much you can realistically do with your time.

01
Too much to do, not enough hands

Your list is long and growing. You want to tackle them all but have no idea where you're going to fit them in. If only you had a second pair of hands or could duplicate yourself maybe it would be easier.

02
Finishing projects keeps getting pushed

Editing, proofreading, formatting, naming and organizing files, checking your facts: none of it is glamorous, but every detail matters. When it's all on you, it's easy to leave a couple on the list forgotten.

03
You need someone who gets it

Not a bot. Someone who understands what you are making, works on it with care, and gives you meaningful input that makes sense to you.

How I help

All the little pieces

These are not packages with fixed deliverables. They are the kinds of tasks I do well (and genuinely like doing). Most projects pull from several of these at once — we can figure out what mix works best for you together.

Willow tree worm's eye view with blue sky.
Researching

Source gathering, fact-checking, locating quotes and resources. I find what you need so you can stay focused on what you like.

Planning

Bringing structure to loose ideas. Timelines, outlines, content calendars, project frameworks.

Designing

Visual layout, formatting, and basic graphic work. Making things look intentional and tailored to you.

Editing

Video and photo editing. Proofreading. Polish that respects the original vision while helping you find the final touch-ups to make your work the best version it can be.

Curating

Selecting, sorting, and sequencing. Helping you decide what makes the cut, what order things go in, and what to leave on the cutting-room floor.

Writing

Copywriting, captions, descriptions, scripts, presentations, bios. Writing in your voice or finding one that fits. Proofreading with real feedback.

Organizing

File systems, folder structures, archives, workflows. Adding the systems that make your work go smoothly.

Creating

Photography, content production, and hands-on making. Bringing craft and care to the visual work your projects need.

SuiteDash

Setup, branding, automations, and workflows designed specifically for you.

About Evy

Creating is in my bones

My background is in photography, but I've been creating since the day I first could. There isn't a hobby I've looked at and not thought "I should try that". What it's taught me is, among other things, to look at all the possibles and find the one (or five) that fit best. To not let what's been done in the past dictate how something has to work now, but also look to the past for solutions we already have.

I believe that human-made things matter, that the stories of craftspeople and storytellers deserve to be preserved and passed down, and that keeping curiosity accessible is worth working toward. That belief shows up in everything I take on.

I own my own business, so I understand what it is to build something without a team behind you. You shouldn't have to choose between experiencing your life and building your future. I work best with people who know what they want their project to turn into, communicate clearly, and give me the freedom to bring something genuine to the table. (If that sounds like you, we should get along great!)

What I bring Cross-disciplinary thinking, careful craft, honest feedback, and the ability to see someone else's vision and work in it.
How I work Flexibly, and with genuine investment in the outcome of your project. Remote by default.
Who I work with Creatives and small business owners
What I value Human-made work. Intentional craftsmanship. Curiosity.

What it is like to work together

I love working with Evy on everything from video editing to SuiteDash builds to research and copywriting. If you're a small business owner with a growing to-do list and not enough hands to tackle it, she is the person you want. She pulls the admin off your plate, keeps your projects actually moving, and brings creative ideas you didn't know you needed. She aims for excellent work AND she knows perfect isn't the goal. That combination is rare. I trust her completely.

Owner · Steffan Consulting Inc

Evy manages a lot of what keeps Groundwork running behind the scenes. Content development, program management, copywriting, video work. She understands the brand AND she runs with it. I rarely have to explain something twice. She's a pleasure to work with, creative, and gets tasks done on time. Exactly the kind of person you want in your corner.
